The Role

Millennium is currently seeking a professional, reliable, and experienced Security Officer to join our team at one of our retail shopping centres. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic group of skilled and motivated professionals in a supportive environment.

Roster

Week 1

• Thursday: 18:00-06:00
• Saturday: 18:00-06:00
• Friday: 20:00-08:00
• Saturday: 20:00-08:00

Week 2

• Friday: 20:00-08:00
• Saturday: 20:00-08:00
• Sunday: 18:00-18:00 (24-hour shift)

Key Responsibilities

• Patrolling designated areas to ensure the safety and security of people and property
• Providing a professional and courteous customer service experience
• Adhering to all relevant security protocols and procedures
• Respond to emergencies, alarm events, calls for assistance and provide the necessary support.
• Assess and respond to situations of risk.

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Need

• A valid Security Licence
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification
• Previous experience in a retail environment (highly regarded)
• Availability for day/night and weekday/weekend shifts
• A good level of physical fitness (patrols are part of the role)
• Reliable transportation (preferred).
• The ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Strong attention to detail
• A proven track record of reliability and punctuality

You must have valid work rights in Australia.
