Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join the AGO GEO SPACES program in Canberra. You’ll play a key role in delivering and sustaining technology solutions that support critical national security outcomes in a secure, highly regulated environment.

You will help ensure the reliability, performance and resilience of mission-critical platforms, while collaborating with engineering and operations teams to maintain exceptional service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in Linux/UNIX administration in enterprise environments.
• Ability to script with Python, Go or Bash to automate tasks.
• Infrastructure as Code and configuration management experience.
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging and observability practices.
• Experience with virtualised and cloud environments (VMware/AWS/Azure/GCP).

Responsibilities

• Support availability, capacity and reliability of complex production environments.
• Provide Level 2/3 incident response and root cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting and logging capabilities.
• Improve automation, IaC and CI/CD practices across environments.
