Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join the AGO GEO SPACES program in a secure, high-availability environment. You will ensure reliability, performance, and resilience of critical platforms in a production setting within Australia.

You will work with Linux systems, automation, and IaC, contributing to incident response, monitoring, and deployment automation while collaborating with cross-functional teams across government and defence sectors.

Qualifications

Experience as SRE or systems engineer in production environments.
Linux/UNIX administration with troubleshooting and performance analysis.
Automation development using Python/Go/Bash or similar.
IaC and configuration management with Terraform/Ansible/Puppet/Chef.
Monitoring, logging and observability practices.

Responsibilities

Maintain availability, capacity and reliability of complex production environments.
Provide Level 2/3 operational support and incident response.
Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting and logging capabilities with service metrics.
Improve automation, IaC and CI/CD practices across the environment.
