Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking a Systems Engineer for the GEO SPACES Program in Canberra. You will help sustain and evolve secure, high‑impact defence systems in a collaborative engineering environment.

Join a national capability delivering geospatial and mission systems, with opportunities to work across systems engineering, integration and governance while supporting critical Defence outcomes. Australian citizenship and NV2 security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Essential experience in systems engineering or integration within complex Defence or government projects.
• Experience with systems analysis, requirements management and design activities.
• Ability to produce and maintain engineering documentation and reports.
• Experience with configuration-managed environments and governance processes.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to ongoing enhancement, sustainment and integration of GEO SPACES systems.
• Collaborate with systems and software engineers, architects and customers through the lifecycle.
• Support Engineering Change Proposals and systems analysis tasks.
• Work with CM and V&V teams to ensure traceability and documented changes.
