Job summary

Advanced Living Solutions, a growing provider of lifestyle technology solutions in Melbourne, is seeking an Experienced Security & Technology Technician. You will deliver integrated security, AV and cabling installations for residential and commercial projects, while upholding high workmanship standards.

The role requires two field-area experiences, a White Card, and a Victorian Private Security licence, with opportunities for on-going development, a varied workload and strong client engagement

Qualifications

• A current Construction Induction Card (White Card).
• Experience in at least two of the listed areas (security & alarm systems; access control; CCTV; audio-visual; home theatre; structured cabling).
• A Victorian Private Security Individual Licence.
• A strong commitment to quality workmanship and the electrotechnology industry.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously and solve problems on site.
• Confidence and patience to provide guidance and training to apprentices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A professional approach and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and service security, access control, CCTV, audio-visual, home theatre and structured cabling systems as part of integrated technology projects.
• Work autonomously on site, diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
• Provide guidance and training to apprentices and junior technicians.
• Maintain high quality workmanship and professional customer interactions across residential and commercial sites.
