Job summary

Nixil Pty in Canberra or Melbourne is seeking hands-on ServiceNow Developers through to Technical Architects who can contribute from day one and deliver high-quality, secure enterprise solutions for a Defence program.

Role involves designing and developing ServiceNow apps, configuring ITSM/ITOM, and building integrations via REST/SOAP. Expect on-site work with possible Canberra travel and clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Strong JavaScript development skills and Glide APIs.
• Experience configuring and customising ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM or custom applications.
• Experience developing integrations, workflows and platform automation.
• Sound understanding of ServiceNow administration, security and deployment processes.
• Ability to work autonomously, troubleshoot complex issues and deliver with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure and enhance ServiceNow applications, modules and workflows.
• Develop JavaScript-based solutions using Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies and UI Actions.
• Build workflows and automation using Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.
• Develop and maintain integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Configure and support ITSM, ITOM and custom ServiceNow applications.
• Manage deployments, update sets, release processes and automated testing using ATF.
• Implement secure development practices, including RBAC and ACLs.
• Produce technical documentation and collaborate with architects, developers, testers and stakeholders in an Agile environment.
