Postino Osteria in Summer Hill, Sydney, is seeking experienced Section Waiters and Sommeliers for a full-time role. You will own your section, deliver warm, knowledgeable service, and contribute to à la carte dining, group bookings and events in a 130-seat setting.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience as Section Waiter / Sommelier within premium or fine dining environments.
• Diploma in Hospitality or equivalent qualification.
• Current NSW RSA certification and full Australian working rights.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant service standards and wine program management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, polished and knowledgeable service across your section.
• Manage orders, dietary requirements and payments accurately.
• Guide guests through food and wine offerings and provide pairing recommendations.
• Collaborate with FOH and BOH teams to ensure seamless service.
• Maintain high standards of presentation and section cleanliness throughout service.
