Job summary

Pavoni Plus Pty Ltd operates Cibaria Manly, a vibrant beachside Italian dining destination in Sydney. The Section Waiter/Sommelier will own a section during lunch and dinner, delivering expert food and wine service with detailed knowledge of Italian wines and regional cuisine.

The role requires 1–3 years in a premium restaurant, strong tasting and service skills, and the ability to communicate clearly in English. NSW RSA compliance and rotating rosters are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in premium/high-volume or fine dining.
• Hospitality qualifications or equivalent experience.
• Strong wine knowledge and service skills.
• Fluent English communication and excellent presentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage a designated section during lunch and dinner service.
• Provide food and beverage service with wine pairing recommendations.
• Explain menu items, ingredients and daily specials to guests.
• Maintain wine cellar and stations; ensure wine service standards.
