Job summary

Hellenika at The Calile in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, seeks an experienced Section Waiter to deliver warm, attentive service across a busy dining room. You will coordinate with kitchen and FOH teams to ensure guests have an exceptional dining experience from arrival to departure.

Ideal candidates bring hospitality passion, guest-focused approach, strong communication and the ability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays on a rotating roster.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience.
• Current RSA certificate.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Previous experience as a Section Waiter in a quality restaurant.

Your Role

As a Section Waiter, you'll take ownership of your section, delivering warm, attentive service while creating genuine connections with our guests. Working closely with our kitchen and front-of-house teams, you'll help ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience from arrival through to farewell.

You're passionate about hospitality, love looking after people and take pride in delivering memorable dining experiences.

You'll also have:

Previous experience as a Section Waiter in a quality restaurant.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A positive attitude and a strong team-first mindset.

The ability to remain calm and organised in a busy service environment.

Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays on a rotating roster.

A current RSA Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
