Job summary

St Paul’s Catholic College in Booragul is seeking a permanent part-time Learning Support Teacher (0.3FTE) to join the team from January 2027. The role focuses on assisting students with disabilities (7–12) and delivering curriculum differentiation in a Catholic school context.

The successful candidate will collaborate with staff, CSO personnel, and external providers, and will contribute to personalised planning, assessment, and transition support, aligning with NSW/ACT Catholic Systemic School

Qualifications

Experience with students with disability (7–12) in a school setting.
Ability to collaborate with CSO staff and external stakeholders.
Experience delivering professional learning to staff and parents.
Proficient use of assessment data to determine adjustments for students.
Capacity to prepare Personalised Plans and Learner Profiles.
Experience supporting student enrolment and transitions.
Knowledge of Disability legislation and National Data Standards.

Responsibilities

Identify students with special educational needs and collaborate with parents and staff.
Deliver intervention and differentiate curriculum as directed by leaders.
Design adjustments and monitor progress with teachers and Learning Support staff.
Work with Learning Support personnel to support inclusive learning environments.
Support documentation for privacy, disability obligations and submissions for NCCD.
Contribute to staff development and parent education programs.
