SkillQuest Solutions is recruiting a qualified and experienced Chef for a coastal hospitality venue in West Beach, SA. You will work with an established team to prepare and present high-quality meals, maintain standards, and support busy service periods.

The role offers a competitive salary of $78,000 to $85,000 plus superannuation per annum, full-time permanent employment, and opportunities to contribute to menu planning and kitchen operations within a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in hospitality/cookery.
• Minimum 3 years as a Chef in busy hospitality settings.
• Ability to plan menus, cost ingredients and lead a kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present a variety of dishes to quality standards.
• Contribute to menu development and daily specials.
• Monitor ingredient quality, portion sizes and presentation.
• Manage food costs, stock levels and ordering.
• Supervise kitchen staff, train juniors and ensure hygiene.
• Collaborate with front-of-house for smooth service.
