Job summary

Responsibilities

• Order ingredients within budget and verify deliveries.
• Prepare and cook dishes with consistent quality and portions.
• Monitor food prep to minimise wastage and keep records.
• Enforce staff Food Policy and prevent unauthorised food removal.
• Manage stock levels, rotation, storage and temperature control.
• Supervise, train and delegate duties to Line Cooks and Kitchen Hands.
• Assist with weekly kitchen rosters and staff coordination.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene and safety standards.
• Follow OH&S procedures and report safety issues.
• Coordinate with Head Chef on menus, suppliers and operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes, ensuring consistent quality, presentation and portion control.
