• Develop menu options based on seasonal changes and customer demand
• Monitor the preparation and planning of meal designs
• Ensure kitchen activities operate in a timely manner
• Resolve customer problems and concerns
• Monitor and record inventory and kitchen staff costs; order supplies if needed
• Support junior kitchen staff with line cooking, food prep and dish plating
• Train new kitchen staff to meet restaurant and kitchen standards
• Create schedules for kitchen staff and report performance to management
• Adhere to sanitation and safety regulations
