Village Roadshow Theme Parks on the Gold Coast is seeking passionate Commis Chefs to join our kitchen team. You’ll work across à la carte dining, buffets, street food, catering and baked goods, delivering quality items to recipe standards.

Qualifications

• Industry experience in high-volume kitchen operations is an advantage.
• Comprehensive understanding of food hygiene and Food Safety program.
• Knowledge of customer dietary requirements such as allergies and intolerances.

Responsibilities

• Conducting food preparation and cooking duties, ensuring menu items are prepared to recipe and quality standards.
• Applying and monitoring food safety procedures to ensure all menu items are prepared and served in line with food safety standards.
• Preparing suitable variations to accommodate guest special requests, including dietary requirements.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic work area and report any issues to the Chef De Partie immediately.
• Working effectively within a team environment to deliver excellent internal service in a positive working environment.
