Village Roadshow Theme Parks on the Gold Coast is seeking passionate Commis Chefs to join our busy kitchen teams at Movie World and Sea World.

You will work across à la carte dining, buffets, street food, catering and baked goods, learning new skills and keeping up with food trends. If you love learning and growing in a fast-paced environment, this is a great place to start or advance your chef career.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume kitchen operations is advantageous.
• Solid understanding of food hygiene and food safety programs.
• Knowledge of dietary requirements such as allergies and intolerances.
• Passion for craft and high standards of food production.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preparation and cooking duties to recipe and quality standards.
• Apply and monitor food safety procedures to ensure compliance.
• Prepare variations to accommodate dietary requests.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic work area and report issues to the Chef De Partie.
• Work collaboratively within a team to deliver excellent service.
