Job summary

Linktal Recruitment is seeking an Import Operator for a Sydney-based role in sea freight. You will own end-to-end import shipments from pre-alert to delivery, across FCL and LCL, with air imports taught as needed. Report to the Director of Operations and work within a family-oriented, collaborative team.

The role offers $80k-$90k+ super, with one day of work-from-home after probation and opportunities to grow with the business.

Qualifications

• Import operations experience in Australian freight forwarding.
• CargoWise experience or similar system.

Responsibilities

• Run import shipments from pre-alert to final delivery, across FCL and LCL.
• Coordinate with overseas agents, customs brokers, carriers and transport providers.
• Keep customers updated and anticipate delays before they occur.
• Monitor free time to avoid detention and demurrage.
• Handle costing and invoicing in CargoWise.
