Job summary

St Vincent’s Private Hospital Sydney is seeking a Scrub Scout Registered Nurse to join our theatre team. The role supports high-quality scrub and scout care across multiple surgical specialties in a fast-paced environment.

Permanent full-time/part-time options are available, with opportunities to work in a modern, privately funded facility that emphasizes patient-centred care and professional development. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Recent Scrub/Scout nursing experience, especially in ophthalmic or plastics.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality Scrub and Scout nursing care across a range of surgical specialties.
• Maintain a safe and efficient operating theatre environment.
• Demonstrate sound knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control principles.
• Ensure surgical instruments, equipment and consumables are prepared and available for procedures.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive patient outcomes.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives and patient safety standards.
