You must hold current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, with recent scrub/Scout experience (ophthalmic/plastics preferred), excellent clinical and communication skills, and the flexibility to work across shifts

About the role

Provide high-quality Scrub and Scout nursing care across a range of surgical specialties. Maintain a safe and efficient operating theatre environment. Demonstrate sound knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control principles. Ensure surgical instruments, equipment and consumables are prepared and available for procedures. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive patient outcomes. Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives and patient safety standards.

About you

Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse. Recent experience in a Scrub/Scout nursing role especially in ophthalmic/plastics Excellent clinical, communication and organisational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centred care. Flexibility to work across a variety of surgical specialties.
