Job summary

CPH Mining & Civil is seeking Scraper Operators for fill-in coverage across Moranbah-area crews, with flights included from Brisbane. You will support civil earthworks using scrapers and associated plant across BMA sites.

Demonstrated experience with CAT 637K scrapers and current health and safety certifications are required. Availability for quick start and flexible cover across sites is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CAT 637K scrapers on mine sites.
• Current Standard 11 certification.
• Current Coal Mine Workers’ Health Assessment Medical.
• Valid driver's license and scraper authorisations on site.

Responsibilities

• Construct, sheet and maintain roads, ramps and access areas.
• Remove soft material and reinstate safe, trafficable surfaces.
• Strip, stockpile, haul and respread topsoil.
• Perform general earthworks and operating plant as required.
• Carry out pre-start checks and follow site safety procedures.

CPH Mining & Civil is looking for experienced Scraper Operators for ongoing fill-in coverage across our crews at BMA sites in the Moranbah region. You’ll support civil earthworks with our fleet of scrapers and supporting plant, with flights included from Brisbane.

The role

• Construct, sheet and maintain roads, ramps and access areas.

• Remove soft or unsuitable material and reinstate safe, trafficable surfaces.

• Strip, stockpile, haul and respread topsoil.

• Complete general earthworks and associated plant operations as required.

• Carry out pre-start inspections and operate in accordance with site procedures and safety requirements.

What you’ll need

• Demonstrated experience operating CAT 637K scrapers.

• Current Standard 11.

• Current Coal Mine Workers’ Health Assessment Medical.

• Valid driver’s licence.

• Scraper RII Statement of Attainment.

• Mine site training transcripts showing previous scraper authorisations and operating history.

• Availability for a quick start and flexibility to provide fill-in coverage across sites.
