Job summary

WorkPac Group in Moranbah, Queensland is seeking an experienced scraper operator for a short-term 5-month contract with immediate start. You will operate CAT 657 scrapers on mine services and earthworks, supporting a high-performing team.

The role involves pre-start inspections, maintaining haul roads and infrastructure, and following site safety procedures. You will work a 7/7 roster with 12.5 hour shifts and have weekly bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience operating scrapers in a mining environment.
• Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Operate scrapers across mine services and earthworks activities - CAT 657.
• Maintain haul roads, drainage, and mining infrastructure.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks.
• Work collaboratively with ancillary operators and mine services crews.
• Follow site safety procedures and operational requirements.
