JRT Group is seeking experienced Civil Scraper Operators for Rockhampton, Yeppoon and surrounding areas. Join a reliable earthworks team focused on safety, productivity, and quality results. Immediate start with home nightly where possible.

Ideal candidates will have proven scraper experience in civil construction or bulk earthworks, GPS or machine control familiarity, and a strong commitment to safety. Valid White Card and reliable transport required.

Qualificações

• Proven experience operating scrapers in civil/construction or bulk earthworks.
• Ability to operate open bowl, elevating or push-pull scrapers.
• Understanding of bulk earthmoving techniques and material placement.
• Capable of working to levels, site plans and project specs.
• Demonstrated productivity while maintaining quality workmanship.

Responsabilidades

• Safely and efficiently operate scrapers on civil/bulk earthworks projects.
• Undertake bulk earthworks, cut-to-fill, trimming and final shaping.
• Load, haul, spread and place materials to required levels and specs.
• Work to site plans, set-out levels and construction requirements.
• Maintain efficient cycle times and daily production targets.
• Collaborate with other plant operators and site personnel.
• Conduct daily pre-start inspections, basic maintenance, and report faults.
• Complete documentation including pre-starts, dockets and timesheets.
• Maintain focus on health and safety, productivity and site requirements.
• Work Monday to Friday, with some Saturday work as required.

CIVIL SCRAPER OPERATORS - IMMEDIATE START

Immediate start | Ongoing work | Home every night

JRT Group is seeking experienced, reliable and safety-focused Civil Scraper Operators to join our growing earthworks team, working across a range of civil construction projects throughout Rockhampton, Yeppoon and surrounding areas.

This role requires more than just operating machinery. We're looking for motivated, switched-on individuals who understand earthmoving operations, can maintain productivity and make sound operational decisions while keeping safety at the forefront.

EXPERIENCED CIVIL SCRAPER OPERATORS – ROCKHAMPTON & YEPPOON

About the Role

The successful applicants will be experienced Scraper Operators who are confident undertaking bulk earthworks and working to project specifications, levels and production targets.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Safely and efficiently operating scrapers across civil construction and bulk earthworks projects

• Undertaking bulk earthworks, cut-to-fill operations, trimming and final shaping

• Loading, hauling, spreading and placing materials to required levels and specifications

• Working accurately to site plans, set-out levels and construction requirements

• Maintaining efficient cycle times and achieving daily production targets

• Working collaboratively with other plant operators and site personnel to maintain efficient earthmoving operations

• Conducting daily pre-start inspections, basic maintenance and reporting equipment faults

• Completing required documentation, including pre-starts, dockets and timesheets

• Maintaining a strong focus on workplace health and safety, productivity and site requirements

• Working Monday to Friday, with some Saturday work as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have proven experience operating scrapers within civil construction or bulk earthworks environments

• Be confident and competent operating open bowl, elevating or push-pull scrapers

• Have a sound understanding of bulk earthmoving techniques, cut-to-fill operations and material placement

• Be capable of working accurately to levels, site plans and project specifications

• Demonstrate the ability to maintain productivity while delivering quality workmanship

• Hold a current Construction White Card

• Be reliable, motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a team

• Have a strong commitment to workplace health and safety

• Have a good work ethic and take pride in operating and maintaining equipment

• Have your own reliable transport

• Have experience operating additional earthmoving equipment – highly regarded

• Have GPS or machine control experience – highly regarded
