Job summary

Salmon Earthmoving is seeking experienced Scraper Operators for a large open-cut gold mining project near Ravenswood, North Queensland. Work involves safe operation of Caterpillar scrapers in a production environment and supporting site operations with material movement.

Flexibility to work a 2/1 dayshift roster, with local candidates preferred and DIDO/FIFO options considered. Casual role with potential to go permanent, strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience operating Scrapers in a mining environment.
• Current and valid Driver's Licence is required.
• Ability to pass silica medical and drug/alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate Caterpillar scrapers on site.
• Support production through efficient material movement and coordination.

About the Role:

We are currently seeking experienced and safety-focusedScraper Operators to join our team working at a large open-cut gold mining project located near Ravenswood, North Queensland.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Caterpillarscrapers in a production environment.

You will play an important role in supporting site operations by contributing to efficient material movement and maintaining high standards of safety and equipment care.

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Demonstrated experience operating Scrapers within a mining environment.
• RII Statement of Attainments including Standard 11
• Current & valid Driver's Licence
• Strong understanding and reliability in adhering to site standards; safety protocols and procedures.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Ability to pass a pre-employment silica medical and drug and alcohol screening.
