• Knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy; respond to learning needs.
• Experience planning high impact teaching strategies and evaluating their impact on student growth.
• Experience monitoring and assessing learning; use data to inform teaching; provide feedback to students and parents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; collaborate with students, parents, colleagues and community.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individuals.
• Contribute to curriculum development and evaluation.
• Undertake other classroom teaching related and organisational duties as directed by the Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertaking other non-teaching supervisory duties.
