Job summary

St Hilda’s School Gold Coast on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Retail Supervisor for maternity cover. This part-time, term-time role is 30 hours per week (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri), 7.5 hours daily, on site at the school shop.

You will lead the Retail Coordinator and casual staff, ensuring stock levels, guest service, and smooth shop operations. Reporting to Operations, you will handle merchandising, supplier liaison, and sales reporting in a faith-based school environment.

Qualifications

• Three to five years’ retail experience with supervisory or managerial responsibilities.
• Proficiency with POS systems, online sales platforms and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication skills for diverse customers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the School Uniform Shop and maintain merchandising standards.
• Lead Retail Coordinator and casual staff; manage stock levels and supplier relations.
• Assist with customer enquiries, fittings, and special requests; balance end-of-day takings.
