St Hilda’s School Gold Coast invites applications for the position of Payroll Manager commencing 04 January 2027, or earlier by negotiation. You will lead end-to-end payroll for the School and Early Learning Centre, ensuring accuracy and compliance while driving systems improvements.

You will oversee payroll across a diverse workforce including teaching, non-teaching, boarding and staff, reporting to the Director of Business.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing payroll operations at scale.
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to lead and mentor payroll staff and drive process improvements.
• Experience with end-to-end payroll processing, reporting and compliance.
• Familiarity with educational or not-for-profit payroll contexts is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversee end-to-end payroll for teaching, non-teaching, boarding and staff.
• Lead and improve payroll processes, systems, and reporting.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with Fair Work, ATO and superannuation rules.
• Prepare salary budgets and variance analyses with leadership.
• Mentor and develop the Payroll Officer and team.
