Job summary

St Michael’s Grammar School in Saint Kilda, VIC, is seeking a motivated Sports Coordinator to lead a high-quality, inclusive sporting program across the School. The role collaborates with the Director of Sport and external partners to deliver engaging experiences for students from Kindergarten to Year 12.

The successful candidate will coordinate interschool sport, manage coaches and facilities, and oversee budgets, risk, and compliance, while administering the Clipboard system to support program

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Experience coordinating sporting programs, events or similar operational activities.
• Sound financial and administrative skills, including budgets and expenditure.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students, staff and external providers.
• Commitment to student safety, wellbeing, inclusion and risk/compliance management.
• Willingness to learn and use digital systems like Clipboard, Synergetic and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations of the school sports program.
• Lead interschool sport, competitions and carnivals; manage coaches, officials, facilities and transport.
• Oversee budgets and risk/compliance processes for sporting activities.
• Administer Clipboard Extracurricular Management System and support sporting program delivery.
• Represent the School as ACS Year 5 and 6 Sport Delegate and Coordinator.
