Job summary

MLC School Sydney is seeking a dynamic Sports Coordinator to lead and coordinate a comprehensive Pre-K to Year 12 sports program. This permanent full-time role supports students, coaches and families, ensuring smooth operations across the school's vibrant co-curricular program.

The successful candidate will manage budgets, engage coaching staff, promote sport activities, and drive student participation while maintaining a high standard of program delivery within IGSA pathways.

Qualifications

• Experience in sports administration or education setting.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with high accuracy.
• Knowledge of school sport and pathways (IGSA).
• Proactive, collaborative and solution-focused approach.
• Commitment to supporting girls' education and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations of the Pre-K to Year 12 sports program.
• Organise sporting competitions, trials, fixtures and carnivals.
• Support and develop coaches and student sporting pathways.
• Manage budgets, resources and administrative processes.
• Monitor student participation, attendance and sporting records.
• Build relationships with students, families, coaches and associations.
• Assist with recruitment, engagement and retention of coaching staff.
• Promote sport through information evenings, orientation events and holiday clinics.
