Job summary

Francis Greenway High School is seeking School Learning Support Officers for full-time ongoing roles to support students with diverse learning needs. Under teacher supervision, you will contribute to academic and wellbeing outcomes in classrooms and other learning environments.

Responsibilities include assisting across streams such as pre-school, vision and hearing support, and bilingual settings, along with delivering welfare and health-related activities as required.

Qualifications

• Working with Children Check Clearance
• Completion of mandatory training required by the Department of Education and willingness to undertake first aid training
• Administration of Medications – training provided based on student needs
• Health support training provided based on student needs

Responsibilities

• Support students with identified diverse learning needs in classrooms and other learning environments under the direction of a teacher
• Provide student welfare, health and wellbeing activities as required
• Assist across streams/settings including pre-school, vision support, hearing support and bilingual contexts
