Job summary

NSW Department of Education's John Edmondson High School in Sydney's Liverpool area is seeking two School Learning Support Officers. Qualifications

• Working with Children Check Clearance
• Mandatory training required by the Department of Education, and willingness to undertake first aid training
• Administration of Medications – training provided as needed
• Health support training provided based on student needs

Responsibilities

• Provide student welfare, health and wellbeing activities under teacher direction
• Support students with identified learning needs in classrooms and other settings
• Assist in streams/settings: pre-school, vision support, hearing support, bilingual
• Contribute to a positive learning environment and student achievement
