Qualifications

• Culinary qualification or equivalent experience in a professional kitchen.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational or institutional setting.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with diverse groups.
• Creativity in menu planning and meal presentation

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
• Plan menus that cater to dietary restrictions and preferences, including vegetarian and gluten-free options.
• Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and maintaining stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
