360 Early Education Macquarie Park is seeking a passionate Cook or Chef to lead our service kitchen, preparing fresh, nutritious meals daily for young children in our care. You'll design kid-friendly menus, ensure compliance with dietary guidelines and food safety standards, manage allergens, and collaborate with educators and families to support healthy eating and development.

Competenze

• Working knowledge of childcare nutrition guidelines (Australian Dietary Guidelines and Get Up & Grow).
• Demonstrated experience managing allergens and special dietary requirements safely.
• Current, or willing to obtain, First Aid and Child Protection training.
• A friendly, warm disposition is a must have! It helps if you love a chat, because you will be someone families want to get to know.

Mansioni

• Design, write and rotate the service menu: fresh, seasonal, varied and genuinely appealing to young children, including fussy eaters.
• Ensure menus align with dietary guidelines and provide the recommended share of daily nutritional needs.
• Cook all meals and snacks fresh on-site each day, plating to a high standard.
• Maintain a HACCP-based food safety program and ensure kitchen cleanliness and audit readiness.
