Job summary

St Paul’s Catholic Primary School, Nightcliff seeks an ICT Support Officer to deliver high-quality technical support, maintain infrastructure, and administer systems for a safe, reliable digital learning environment.

You will work with staff, students and leadership, aligning with CENT safeguarding frameworks and the Catholic mission while managing Google Workspace, Windows devices, and classroom technology.

Qualifications

• Relevant IT qualifications or 2–3 years desktop/network support experience.
• Experience with Windows desktops, Google Workspace, and basic network routing.
• Familiarity with Jamf Pro/School and ASM workflows.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to staff and students.
• Ability to work independently and maintain documentation.
• Commitment to Catholic education values and safeguarding policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice and desktop, hardware, and software support to all staff and students.
• Configure, image, deploy, and maintain desktop systems, devices, and AV equipment.
• Triage, resolve, or escalate issues.
• Maintain school network connectivity and diagnose LAN/WAN issues.
• Manage Google Workspace accounts and backups; implement cybersecurity updates.
