Job summary

Beaudesert State High School, located in Scenic Rim, is seeking a Human Resources Officer to provide operational HR support and advice to staff, in consultation with the Business Manager. The role coordinates HR processes, administers staff movements and responds to inquiries on entitlements, pay and contracts.

The position requires experience with HR systems, recruitment and induction, and familiarity with MyHR.

Qualifications

• Experience providing operational HR support and advice within a school or government context.
• Knowledge of staff movements, deployments and entitlements.
• Ability to interpret and apply employment conditions, pay and leave policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational HR support and advice to staff in consultation with the Business Manager.
• Coordinate and administer HR processes including staff movements and recruitment induction.
• Respond to staff enquiries regarding entitlements, pay, contracts and claims.
• Monitor and improve HR processes and service delivery for efficiency and compliance.
• Support with supervision of administrative staff and timekeeping systems.
• Engage with staff and school community to foster productive relationships.
