Qualifications

• Trade qualification (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, horticulture, or similar) with current licence(s).
• Strong hands-on trade/maintenance skills.
• Sound understanding of WHS requirements in a maintenance/grounds context.
• Current Queensland driver's licence.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Good communication skills with staff, contractors, and leadership.
• Ability to manage stock, inventory and ordering processes.
• Able to work independently and prioritise tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the College's grounds and maintenance function to ensure a safe, well-maintained environment.
• Balance team leadership with hands-on maintenance planning and trade work.
• Ensure buildings, grounds and facilities meet safety, functionality and presentation standards.
