Job summary

The Cathedral College in Rockhampton invites applications for a full-time Facilities Officer (Grounds/Maintenance). You will maintain and develop the school's grounds across both boarding and main campus, ensuring a safe, well-kept environment and supporting daily operations.

Ideal candidates will have grounds/maintenance experience, strong time management and interpersonal skills, and a current Blue Card WWC and MR class driver's licence. Competitive salary plus benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in grounds/maintenance operations.
• Ability to manage time and coordinate tasks in a school environment.
• Commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education and working with students.

Responsibilities

• Mowing, trimming and fertilising lawns and turf areas.
• Repairing and maintaining irrigation systems.
• Weeding, planting and fertilising gardens.
• Sports field marking
• Assisting with minor building maintenance as directed
• Carry out minor repairs to school property and equipment.
