Job summary

Our Lady of the Angels Primary Rouse Hill in NSW seeks a skilled Grounds Maintenance Officer to support the school's operations, providing cleaning, grounds upkeep and general support to create a safe, welcoming environment for students and staff. You will work with a team to maintain facilities and outdoor spaces.

The role offers early morning hours, a 4-day pattern, and rates from 28.13 to 33.06 AUD per hour with pre-employment medicals and WWCC as part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification not essential; relevant experience acceptable.
• Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) required.
• Pre-employment medical assessment may be required.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out general repair and maintenance tasks.
• Gardening and horticultural work including planting and care.
• Operate turf and grounds machinery under supervision.
• Assist with safe application of fertilisers, fungicides and pesticides.
• Respond to alarms and assist with security and incident reports.
• Support building and furniture maintenance with qualified tradespersons.
• Undertake additional duties as required by school leadership.
