Job summary

Brisbane Catholic Education seeks a Groundskeeper for All Saints Parish School in Albany Creek, Queensland. The role covers maintenance of gardens, lawns, ovals and irrigation, with 38 hours per week in a full-time, permanent position within a Catholic school environment.

You will support building maintenance, coordinate refurbishments with the Principal, and help provide safe, well-kept outdoor spaces for daily activities and events throughout the year.

Qualifications

• Experience with maintaining school grounds including gardens, lawns, ovals and greens.
• Ability to operate and maintain basic building repairs and equipment.
• Familiarity with irrigation system upkeep and minor construction tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage planned and unplanned maintenance of school buildings, furniture and equipment.
• Perform minor maintenance including painting, repairs, carpentry and window cleaning.
• Care for school grounds and irrigation systems, including turf and greens.
• Oversee refurbishments to facilities in collaboration with the Principal.
• Monitor and record maintenance requests via the school online system.
• Assist with facilities and grounds setup for events and functions.
