Job summary

Brisbane Catholic Education Office – Coorparoo is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain our Lady of Mount Carmel School's grounds and facilities. You will manage routine and ad-hoc maintenance, care for gardens and sports ovals, and assist with irrigation systems.

In this role you will coordinate minor repairs, support event setup, and track work orders online. Relevant Certificate III or apprenticeship completion is required, with eligibility to work in Australia.

Qualifications

• Certificate III level or completion of an apprenticeship.
• Experience with maintenance of school buildings and grounds.
• Ability to monitor and track requests via an online system.

Responsibilities

• Manage planned and unplanned maintenance of buildings, furniture, and equipment using tools and machinery.
• Prepare for minor construction and installation works including repairs, painting, and carpentry.
• Maintain school grounds including gardens, lawns, ovals, and irrigation systems.
• Monitor and record maintenance requests in the school's online system.
• Support events and functions with facilities and grounds setup and maintenance.
