Queensland Department of Education - North Lakes QLD invites applications for a Schools Officer, Grounds and Facilities at North Lakes State College. You will help keep grounds, facilities and infrastructure safe and well maintained to support daily school life.

Responsibilities include mowing, gardening, minor repairs, event setup, security, WHS compliance and coordination with staff and tradespeople. Experience in groundskeeping and a proactive approach are valued.

Qualifications

• Grounds maintenance duties including mowing lawns, oval and garden upkeep.
• Maintenance of tools, machinery and groundskeeping equipment.
• Basic school maintenance such as minor repairs and painting.

Responsabilités

• Maintain grounds and facilities to support student activities.
• Set up for assemblies and school events.
• Operate security systems and control access to buildings.
• Coordinate with management, staff and tradespeople.
• Ensure WHS procedures are followed and hazards reported.
• Keep records of supplies and maintenance tasks.
