Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect mail, parcels and documents; record and deliver messages; print and photocopy; prepare classrooms for examinations.
• Support school security duties including operating security systems; banking of funds (transport to the bank); lock/unlock buildings within core hours.
• Assist with drains and gutters cleaning; waste collection; cleaning outside normal hours; disposal of rubbish; assist with events.
• Ensure workplace health and safety: maintain safe environment; handle chemicals/fertilisers/fuel safely; identify hazards; manage equipment records; maintain tools.
• Attend to repairs and maintenance for furniture, equipment, locks/windows; swimming pool water quality and testing; maintain school facilities.
• Provide basic maintenance of equipment for students with disabilities.
