Job summary

Queensland Government is seeking a capable grounds and facilities support person for a new school site in Logan Reserve. You will maintain grounds, assist with minor repairs, and help keep the campus clean, safe and welcoming for students and staff from day one.

Working collaboratively with the Business Manager and campus teams, you will contribute to a well-presented learning environment, support events, and identify safety needs to ensure a positive school experience for everyone.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance and basic facilities work.
• Strong attention to safety and details.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain school grounds, gardens, outdoor areas and general landscaping.
• Support care, maintenance and minor repairs of facilities and equipment.
• Ensure a clean, safe and well-presented campus environment.
• Assist with setup and pack-down for school activities and events.
