Job summary

Rosebud Secondary College in Victoria seeks an experienced maintenance and facilities lead to manage day-to-day upkeep of school buildings, grounds and equipment. You will oversee the AIMS and Compass systems, raise purchase orders and supervise contractors to ensure safe, well-presented premises.

You will coordinate maintenance schedules, respond to requests, and provide reports to leadership while collaborating with staff and contractors to keep the site compliant and functional.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating maintenance across facilities and grounds.
• Ability to communicate with a range of people in a working environment.
• Experience using maintenance systems such as AIMS and purchase workflows.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day maintenance, facilities, buildings, grounds and equipment.
• Oversee AIMS system and manage maintenance records and service schedules.
• Raise purchase orders and manage invoices in Compass/AIMS.
• Ensure safety and compliance with OHS and departmental standards.
• Respond to maintenance requests including minor repairs and grounds work.
• Manage contractors and tradespeople, timelines and budgets.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules and inspections.
• Provide regular reports to Principal and Business Manager.
• Assist with emergency management and school events as required.
• Move Coffee Van as required.
