Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience managing facilities, contractors, and OHS compliance within a school or multi-site environment.
• Hands-on maintenance and minor building repairs skills with use of relevant tools.
• Ability to establish and maintain systems to track maintenance, compliance and contractor performance.
• Capacity to manage minor projects on site while following OHS practices.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail; able to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate facilities, grounds, and maintenance across the school site.
• Source, engage, and manage contractors and tradespeople, including scope, quality, timelines, and sign-off.
• Lead the school's OHS compliance program with inductions, risk assessments, and audits.
• Develop and manage a preventive and cyclic maintenance schedule.
• Perform general maintenance, minor building works, and grounds tasks as required.
• Maintain records of contractors, maintenance schedules and compliance documentation.
