Job summary

Surf Coast Shire Council in Torquay is seeking a part-time School Crossing Supervisor to support Winchelsea Primary School crossings. The role runs 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with shifts 8:00am-9:00am and 2:45pm-3:45pm, at the civic building head office location in Torquay.

The role offers community impact, on-the-job training, and requires a valid police check and WWCC. Salary is $34.82 per hour plus 12% super and annual pay increases.

• Police Check results suitable for this position (will be arranged by Surf Coast Shire Council).

Responsibilities

• Provide safe crossing assistance for students near Winchelsea Primary School.

About the role

We currently have one permanent part-time School Crossing Supervisor role available for our Winchelsea Primary School crossing and are looking for a road safety hero to ensure our kids, families and other community members are assisted with road crossings near the school establishment.

The role provides great opportunity for community connection and sense of achievement, where you will become a staple part of our young children’s school routine.

Winchelsea Primary School

10 hours a week
Monday to Friday: 8:00am - 9:00am
2:45pm - 3:45pm
