Job summary

Chandler Macleod Group is seeking a School Crossing Supervisor in the City of Stonnington to keep school‑aged children and pedestrians safe during peak hours. You’ll work outdoors and become a trusted local presence.

This part‑time, maximum‑term role offers consistent hours, accrual of annual leave and sick/carer’s leave, and superannuation paid in addition to your hourly rate. You’ll contribute to community safety and wellbeing while supporting local families.

Qualifications

• Be friendly, reliable, community-minded, and confident communicating with people of all ages.
• Be available for morning and/or afternoon shifts during school terms.
• Hold, or be willing to obtain, a Working With Children Check.
• Be flexible to work across different crossing locations if needed.
• Be able to pass a Police Check and Medical Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist children and pedestrians to safely cross the road during peak school hours.
• Work outdoors and engage positively with the local community.
• Morning shifts between 8:00am – 9:00am and/or afternoon shifts between 3:00pm – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday during school terms.
• Opportunity to work at multiple locations within the council area when required.
