Qualifications

• Formal qualifications at Degree level in Education Psychology or Social Work.
• Post-graduate experience related to student welfare and counselling is desirable.
• Guidance Counsellors (Teacher) registration with QCT and QGCA or Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA) or AASW membership.

Responsibilities

• Foster development, mental health and resilience of all students, including at-risk and those with special needs.
• Apply guidance and counselling through direct and indirect processes and interventions.
• Collaborate with school staff in a collegial, professional manner to support equity and outcomes.
