Are you ready to bring fun, creativity and care to a role that supports children in their before and after school adventures?

YWCA Canberra Children’s Services is on the lookout for Diploma Qualified Educators who hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education to join our School Age Care Services across Canberra.

Not Diploma qualified yet? We also welcome enthusiastic unqualified educators to join our casual staffing pool. If you are passionate about working with children, bring a positive attitude, and are interested in building experience in School Age Care, we would love to hear from you.

Hours of work: Opportunities are available from 15 to 38 hours per week, working 40 weeks per year during school terms, with no work required during school holidays.

In this role, you’ll help craft engaging and educational environments for school-aged children.

• Ensure children’s safety and well-being while participating in various activities.

We’re looking for individuals who are:

• Experienced in the Children’s Services sector.
• Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Equipped with excellent communication skills to connect with children and colleagues alike.

Requirements:

• Experience and skills in the Children’s Services industry.
• A commitment to maintaining high safety standards and supporting children with additional or complex learning needs.
