Job summary

The Y Canberra Region is seeking an Educational Leader at Holder Early Learning Centre to guide the educational team in delivering high-quality education and care. You will promote strong relationships, mentor staff, and support administrative tasks while overseeing daily centre operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, or an ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification.
• Food Safety certificate, or willingness to obtain.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Y Mandatory Internal Training - completion of all required organisational online learning modules prior to commencement.
• Geccko - Foundations of Child Safety Training Courses 1 & 2, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
• Geccko - Advanced Child Safety Training Courses 3 & 4, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
• ACT Government - Keeping Children and Young People Safe training or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
• Current Paid ACT Working With Vulnerable People card (WWVP) or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)

Experience and Qualifications:
