The Y Canberra Region is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator to support high-quality learning environments for children. You will plan, implement and assess programs aligned with EYLF, NQF and NQS, supervise children, build relationships with families, and document learning outcomes.
In the Lead Educator’s absence, provide leadership to the room team to maintain continuity of care. Role requires an ACECQA-approved Diploma in ECEC, current First Aid/CPR, and ongoing safeguarding

This role is responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality early childhood education and care by creating safe, inclusive and engaging learning environments where every child can thrive.
Working collaboratively with the Lead Educator and Educational Leader, you will help plan, implement and evaluate educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Framework (NQF) and National Quality Standard (NQS). You will actively supervise children, foster strong relationships with families and colleagues, contribute to children's learning and development through meaningful documentation, promote health, safety and wellbeing, and maintain a welcoming environment that reflects the values and philosophy of The Y Canberra Region.
In the absence of the Lead Educator, you will confidently provide leadership to the room team to ensure continuity of high-quality education and care.
