Job summary

Henderson Healthcare is seeking a Scheduling Manager to lead Scheduling Supervisors and develop a centralised scheduling model focused on efficiency, compliance, consistency and service excellence.

You’ll spend time in Currambine, Rockingham and Mirrabooka, while also working from our West Perth Head Office. The role will focus on workforce planning, stakeholder engagement, continuous improvement and leading teams through change.

Qualifications

  • Previous scheduling, rostering or workforce planning experience.
  • Strong leadership experience and ability to motivate teams.
  • Understanding of compliance, legislation and operational risk.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Collaborative leadership style with ability to influence outcomes.
  • Experience using scheduling, workforce management or rostering systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support Scheduling Supervisors across three service hubs.
  • Drive workforce planning and scheduling optimisation.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory and organisational requirements.
  • Analyse workforce data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Improve scheduling processes, systems and operational practices.
  • Build relationships with operational leaders and stakeholders.
  • Coach and develop scheduling team capability.
  • Support organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture.

About the Role

As Scheduling Manager, you'll lead a team of Scheduling Supervisors and support the development of a centralised scheduling model focused on efficiency, compliance, consistency and service excellence.

About You

We're open to candidates from aged care, healthcare, disability, community services or other large workforce environments.

  • Previous scheduling, rostering or workforce planning experience
  • Strong leadership experience with the ability to unite and motivate teams
  • A solid understanding of compliance, legislation and operational risk
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • A collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence outcomes
  • Strategic thinking and strong problem-solving capabilities
